Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to Your use of the Meandr Site and Services (as defined in the Terms of Use) and is incorporated into the Terms of Use by reference. A violation of this AUP is a violation of the Terms of Use.
Prohibited Activities
You may not, and You may not permit any third party (including any AI agent acting on Your behalf or any end user accessing the Service through Your account) to:
Illegal use
- Use the Service to transmit, store, generate, or process content that is illegal under applicable law in any relevant jurisdiction;
- Use the Service in furtherance of any illegal activity, including fraud, money laundering, evasion of sanctions, or violation of export-control laws;
- Use the Service to violate the intellectual property rights of any party.
Network and security abuse
- Transmit malware, viruses, worms, ransomware, or any other malicious code through the Service;
- Use the Service to attempt unauthorized access to any system, account, network, or data, whether belonging to Meandr, to other customers, or to third parties;
- Use the Service to conduct denial-of-service or distributed-denial-of-service attacks;
- Use the Service to obtain, store, distribute, or use stolen credentials, including upstream API keys or tokens;
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity, performance, or availability of the Service or its underlying infrastructure.
Service abuse
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the Service or its capacity to third parties without Meandr’s prior written consent;
- Circumvent or attempt to circumvent rate limits, plan limits, authentication, or other access controls of the Service;
- Use the Service to generate excessive traffic that constitutes abuse of Meandr’s fair-use limits, even where such traffic does not technically exceed Your plan cap;
- Use the Service to host or relay unsolicited communications (spam) or other forms of unauthorized bulk messaging;
- Use the Service to mine cryptocurrency or for any other use that imposes disproportionate computational load relative to the Service’s intended purpose.
Reverse engineering
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or derive source code from the Service, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law that cannot be waived by contract.
Privacy violations
- Use the Service to collect or process personal data of any third party in violation of applicable privacy laws or without the necessary legal basis;
- Use the Service to track, profile, or surveil any individual without their knowledge and required authorization.
Harmful content
- Use the Service to transmit, store, generate, or process content that is defamatory, harassing, hateful, threatening, or that depicts or promotes child sexual abuse material, terrorism, violence, or self-harm.
Security Research
Coordinated disclosure of suspected vulnerabilities in the Service is welcome and encouraged. To report a vulnerability, contact us at security@meandr.com.
You may not attempt unauthorized security testing, vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, fuzzing, or any similar activity against the Service or its infrastructure without Meandr’s prior written consent. Permitted security research must be conducted in accordance with such consent and in coordination with Meandr’s security team.
Reporting Violations
If You become aware of any violation of this AUP, please report it to abuse@meandr.com. Meandr investigates reported violations and may take action including suspension or termination of accounts engaged in violations, in accordance with the Terms of Use.
Changes to this AUP
Meandr may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email and/or through notice on the Site at least thirty (30) days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the changes constitutes acceptance of the updated AUP.
