Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to Your use of the Site and Services provided by Meandr, Inc., a Delaware corporation with principal place of business at 169 Madison Ave, STE 66267, New York, NY 10016, United States (“Meandr”), as defined in the Terms of Use. This AUP is incorporated into the Terms of Use by reference. A violation of this AUP is a violation of the Terms of Use.

Prohibited Activities

You may not, and You may not permit any third party (including any AI agent acting on Your behalf or any end user accessing the Service through Your account) to:

Illegal use

  • Use the Service to transmit, store, generate, or process content that is illegal under applicable law in any relevant jurisdiction;
  • Use the Service in furtherance of any illegal activity, including fraud, money laundering, evasion of sanctions, or violation of export-control laws;
  • Use the Service to violate the intellectual property rights of any party.

Network and security abuse

  • Transmit malware, viruses, worms, ransomware, or any other malicious code through the Service;
  • Use the Service to attempt unauthorized access to any system, account, network, or data, whether belonging to Meandr, to other customers, or to third parties;
  • Use the Service to conduct denial-of-service or distributed-denial-of-service attacks;
  • Use the Service to obtain, store, distribute, or use stolen credentials, including upstream API keys or tokens;
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity, performance, or availability of the Service or its underlying infrastructure.

Service abuse

  • Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the Service or its capacity, including Hosted Instances, to third parties without Meandr’s prior written consent;
  • Circumvent or attempt to circumvent rate limits, plan limits, authentication, human-in-the-loop approval triggers, or other access or governance controls of the Service;
  • Bypass, spoof, or interfere with Meandr’s policy, approval, or audit-logging machinery, including by submitting requests crafted to evade or misrepresent identity to those systems;
  • Scrape, harvest, or otherwise access telemetry, audit, or configuration data belonging to other Meandr tenants;
  • Use the Service to generate excessive traffic that degrades it for other customers, even within Your plan’s limits;
  • Use the Service to host or relay unsolicited communications (spam) or other forms of unauthorized bulk messaging;
  • Use the Service to mine cryptocurrency or for any other use that imposes disproportionate computational load relative to the Service’s intended purpose.

Hosted servers

Hosted Instances share outbound network addresses with other customers, so abuse from one affects all of them.

  • Use a Hosted Instance for anything other than running MCP servers and the software they need, including as general-purpose compute, a VPN, proxy, relay, or anonymizer;
  • Scan networks or ports, or send traffic intended to probe, flood, or overwhelm any system;
  • Send bulk or unsolicited email or messages from a Hosted Instance;
  • Send outbound traffic beyond fair use: sustained or bulk transfer that degrades shared network capacity for other customers. Meandr may review an account whose traffic exceeds fair use and suspend the Hosted Instances responsible.

Reverse engineering

  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or derive source code from the Service, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law that cannot be waived by contract.

AI-enabled harm and prohibited automation vectors

  • Route workflows or tool calls designed to deploy, distribute, or facilitate malware, viruses, ransomware, or other malicious code;
  • Use the Service to operate automated phishing campaigns, credential-harvesting flows, or other social-engineering attacks;
  • Use the Service to execute weaponized scripts, automated exploitation tooling, or any agent-driven workflow whose intended effect is to compromise systems, networks, or data You are not authorized to access;
  • Use the Service in any AI-agent workflow designed to evade lawful controls, defeat content-moderation or safety systems on upstream services, or generate content prohibited by this AUP at scale.

Privacy violations

  • Use the Service to collect or process personal data of any third party in violation of applicable privacy laws or without the necessary legal basis;
  • Use the Service to track, profile, or surveil any individual without their knowledge and required authorization.

Harmful content

  • Use the Service to transmit, store, generate, or process content that is defamatory, harassing, hateful, threatening, or that depicts or promotes child sexual abuse material, terrorism, violence, or self-harm.

Security Research

Coordinated disclosure of suspected vulnerabilities in the Service is welcome and encouraged. To report a vulnerability, contact us at security@meandr.com.

You may not attempt unauthorized security testing, vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, fuzzing, or any similar activity against the Service or its infrastructure without Meandr’s prior written consent. Permitted security research must be conducted in accordance with such consent and in coordination with Meandr’s security team.

Enforcement and Immediate Termination

Meandr, Inc. reserves the absolute right to take immediate action in response to any violation of this AUP, including, without limitation:

  • Instantly rotating or invalidating credentials issued by Meandr, including agent tokens and bridge tokens;
  • Revoking API access tokens and closing active sessions;
  • Suspending any service found in violation of this AUP, as soon as Meandr decides to and without prior notice. A suspended service’s Hosted Instance is billed until You delete it;
  • Terminating an account for serious or repeated violations, under the Terms of Service;
  • Stopping or deleting Hosted Instances; data on their local disks is not recoverable;
  • Withholding refunds of any kind for the suspended or terminated service, in accordance with the Refunds section of the Terms of Use.

When Meandr suspends a service, it tells You which services were suspended and why.

Meandr’s exercise of these rights does not give rise to any liability to You for any resulting interruption, lost data, lost revenue, or other harm. Meandr may take any of the actions above before, during, or after an investigation; the investigation does not need to be complete before Meandr acts.

Reporting Violations

If You become aware of any violation of this AUP, please report it to privacy@meandr.com. Meandr investigates reported violations and may take action including suspension or termination of accounts engaged in violations, in accordance with the Terms of Use and the Enforcement and Immediate Termination section above.

Changes to this AUP

Meandr may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email and/or through notice on the Site at least thirty (30) days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the changes constitutes acceptance of the updated AUP.
